Hi, my name is Martin Ormond.

I have been working as a marriage celebrant since 2004. I love being able to offer people a unique and tailored wedding ceremony or commitment ceremony that matches their style and helps to create the particular atmosphere they want for their important day.

As a celebrant, I am:

  • Flexible and cooperative – I understand the pressures of time when you are trying to plan a wedding ceremony or commitment ceremony while you’re still working!
  • Experienced – I’ve performed wedding ceremonies and commitment ceremonies with as few as five people to many hundreds, in settings as varied as historic homes and laidback cafes.
  • Exclusive to your event – I will only ever accept one wedding ceremony or commitment ceremony on any given day so I will never be rushing to or from your event.
  • Green – I carbon offset all of my car use related to your event with Greenfleet (approved by the Australian Government’s Greenhouse Friendly Initiative).

I offer my services within the Melbourne metropolitan area and offer an obligation-free first meeting at a mutually convenient time and place to discuss your needs.
